Job Posting for EVE Mill Operator II (2nd shift)
Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently seeking an experienced Mill Operator to join our team on 2nd shift, which is scheduled Monday through Friday at 2:20pm to 10:50pm. This role reports to the Production Supervisor at our plant in Everett, Washington and is considered a critical member of the CPP-Everett team, working closely with the team to manufacture aerospace components as per drawing. Major Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to set-up, run, tear down 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC Mills (minimal supervision).
• Inspect parts during production run to control quality.
• Deburring as needed during production.
• Knowledge of common G and M codes.
• Blueprint reading at level 2 with continued training.
• Follow schedule set by supervisor and meet job standard times with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Observe machine during operation and completes production data collection paperwork.
• Review queue and prep next job during cycle time.
• Show proficiency with shop math.
• Knowledge of mill cutting tools and holders.
• Basic understanding of feeds and speeds.
• Multi-axis operation and understanding.
• Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills. Must be able to recognize production problems such as out-of-tolerance machining, poor finishes, damaged or worn cutters and tooling.
• Suggest solutions to manufacturing issues and engages in problem-solving exercises.
• Ability to dial in a hole, use of edge-finder, and set machine/tool offsets.
• Effort to continuously improve work environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Mathematical Skills: Strong Geometry knowledge is foundational. Show ability to convert metric to inch and do decimal to fraction conversions. Must be impeccable with decimal placement.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years' experience on CNC Mills.
• High school diploma.
• Vocational training or college-based training a plus.
• Previous OJT a plus.
• Strong interest in continuous learning and self-improvement.

Preferred, but not required.

• Knowledge of Boeing BAC specs.
• Experience in aerospace industry.
