Job Description:

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the strategic value of different types of data, including unstructured data and big data. This role is critical to helping the portfolio of businesses make strategic moves and improve operational efficiency.  This position will report to the Director of Strategic Marketing & Analytics.

What your impact will be:

• Collect, examine, interpret and present data to business managers that will aid in every strategic outcome


• Continually monitor and mine data related to Public Safety industry


• Conduct extensive market research in specific geographies to establish trends related to agency spend, churn rates and emerging opportunities


• Develop competitor profiles that will help the business become more attractive in certain segments of the market


• Improve the quality of the CRM data, keeping contact data current and enhancing the quality of data submitted by the sales team

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, business administration or similar


• Mathematics and statistics skills to work with the data and develop models


• Ability to recognize patterns to find useful information in the data that’s sometimes unstructured


• Thorough and critical thinking skills to find value and examine what’s in the data


• Communication, presentation and writing skills to present findings derived from the data


• Focus and organization to work on multiple tasks and projects


• Relatable skills to build relationships with teams from other departments


• Ability to learn quickly and acknowledge the business, customer behavior and market trends relevant to the company’s industry


• Technology skills to work with various research, data analytics, modeling and predictive tools, as well as business productivity software


• Problem-solving to address the challenges of data collection and research, as well as help guide professionals toward solutions that resolve issues revealed in the data
