About this Position: 

The Sr. Regional Export Representative is responsible for the sale of North American produced export products to Honda regions worldwide contributing 50K-100K in export units for a total of $2 Billion in sales. This position is responsible to lead the correlation with Honda Motor global office and provide counsel regarding all the export regions/countries as it relates to production orders, volume forecasting, arrival timing, shipping documentation, price quotations, and final delivery.

 

Responsibilities include:


  • Coordinate with AHM internal groups and regional offices to confirm accuracy and timing of orders, shipping, SOP creation and approval, and AD HOC special requests.

  • Achieve order to wholesale shipment target.

  • Maximize efficiency and effectiveness or Regional CBU Sales and AHM internal groups processes.

  • Create, manage, and issues regional pricing (Transfer Pricing) on a quarterly basis.

  • Resolve operation and systems discrepancies related to the daily operations and procedures.

 

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:


  • Proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Automotive experience with OEM is a plus

  • 6-8 years of experience in Sales and/or Supply Chain Operations

Required Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or equivalent work-related experience

Desired skills:


  • Excellent organizational skills with a thorough attention to detail

  • Highly task oriented and able to meet multiple deadlines

  • Bilingual in Japanese a plus

Additional Position Factors:


  • Workstyle:        Virtual (40% In-Office)

  • Travel:               5%
