An exciting opportunity with a reputable not-for-profit healthcare organization is available for the Medical Surgical RN (Night Shift) in Southern New Jersey!

This 125+ bed short term acute care hospital situated in beautiful Coastal New Jersey offers a range of medical services to patients in the area, including: adult intensive care and medical surgical services, 24/7 emergency department services, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, radiation oncology, rehabilitation services, wound care, and many other service lines. Surgical services include: minimally invasive outpatient procedures, general, ortho, neuro, spine, vascular, urology, and laparoscopic. This organization has been fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is a part of a larger health system in the area, allowing room for career growth to the Medical Surgical RN.

The Night Shift Medical Surgical RN will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned med-surg inpatients. The Med Surg RN Nights will work closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to provide safe and effective care. The Medical Surgical Nurse will have the opportunity to provide autonomous care according to hospital policies and procedures, and will collaborate with the unit manager, facility director, and other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of high quality care for patients during their brief inpatient stays. The Night Shift Med Surg RN will also be involved in patient discharge planning, providing education to patients and their families for a smooth discharge process. The Night Shift Staff RN Med Surg must obtain 1-2 years of previous inpatient unit clinical experience.
