APRN Director of Oncology at Clinical Management Consultants in Yonkers, New York

Job Description:

An award winning academic medical center is looking for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Director of Oncology to oversee the operations of their cancer center in New York City.

This 700 bed academic hospital is one of the top ranked hospitals in the nation and offers it's patients a wide range of services including behavioral health, cardiovascular services, cancer care, transplant programs, obstetrics, geriatric care, neuroscience, surgical services, and much more. This cancer center is home to New York's top cancer specialists and has a fully accredited Breast Center, and more. The team has nationally renowned oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, imaging specialist, and other clinicians. 

The APRN Director of Oncology will have oversight of both Nursing and Advance Practice Provider staff in the Cancer Center. The Director will direct the clinical and administrative functions of the Cancer Center to ensure quality patient care. The Director will direct the development of the Cancer Center's short and long term goals and objectives in collaboration with members of the medical, administrative, and patient services leadership. The Director will implement policies, procedures, and standards for patient services and monitor Cancer Center for compliance. The Director will be responsible for maintaining current accreditations and develop operating, capital, and program budgets. 

Requirements: 

• Master's Degree in Nursing 


• Current NYS License as RN, and NYS License as NP


• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical and administrative leadership experience
