Thales DIS USA is looking for a Logistics Lead to join our Manufacturing team in North Kingstown, RI. The role of the Logistics Lead is to support all Logistics functions for Vault & Warehouse as well as the needs of Production
Key Responsibilities:
Provide weekly inventory reports to CS
Assist in mid-day customer ‘rushes’
Perform End of Shift (EOS) balancing relative to portfolio
Assist in daily shipment for CSR requests
Support CS with II consumable transfers to FI customers
Monitor Generic & customer collateral
Update JAAMS system when moving stock
Manages data input for KPI
Assist and follow up on problem solving type of situations (i.e. inventory counts, etc.)
Transacts & supports Oracle EBS & APS collateral logically
Acquire and perform Legacy & GTO JAAMS procedures
Perform modified audits on vault inventory weekly on both Cell 1 & 2
Perform daily audit of log books, remake, tipping, foil and return mail
Insure all tipping foil is in a secure cabinet
Manages SESAM Documentation
Receive & assign inventory in JAAMS & Oracle operating system
Assist in maintaining adequate consumable supplies for Production
Confirms Production inventory if needed
Manages secure & non-secure destructions
Supports secure & non-secure shipments & receipts
Maintain 5S standards throughout the vault
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Skills and Abilities:
3 to 5+ years of experience in...
Fork truck experience
Forwarding thinking, strong numerical and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills: both written and verbal
Physical Demands:
Requires standing, lifting, sitting, pulling and reaching required to fulfill the job duties.
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Noise level is moderate.
Must be able to perform all essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

2 to 5+ years of experience in supply chain or inventory management
Certification
Education:
Associates degree
