Supv, Facility Ops at Kirby Offshore Marine Operating LLC in Staten Island, New York

Job Description:

SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Staten Island Facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Building and site maintenance including coordination of budgeting, inspections, and repairs to the office, piers, and facility systems. (Gate automation, fire/safety/OSHA equipment)


• Managed access as the Facility Security Officer for customers, vendors, and crew members to the facility


• Oversee warehouse and supply operations to the vessels


• Shipping and receiving, inclusive of loading and unloading trucks, and receiving in the system


• Coordinate deliveries and freight for OPS and Engineering items.


• Issue Purchase Orders for supplies and equipment needed for facility operations


• Point of contact for the facility during after hours


• Manage fleet vehicles including forklift

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS

• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Certifications needed:


• Forklift


• CPR/AED/First Aid


• FDNY Certificate of Fitness (3)


• Torch Operations


• Flammable/Combustible Liquids


• Compressor Operation for the property


• Ability to operate standard office equipment, personal computer, and calculator.


• Must possess a valid TWIC and driver’s license

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, weekends, after-office hours, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education      High school diploma or GED.
