Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Account Service Representative in our Raleigh/Durham area. The successful candidate:

Job Requirements: Primary responsibility is to perform all associated client inventory and account management activities. Work with account management team to provide positive customer service experience, while simultaneously building customer relationships which lead to client retention and growth. Function as the primary customer liaison for complaint handling on behalf of the SRI Healthcare Operations team.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:



  • Management of customer inventory to include the following areas:




  • Product rotation and returns.




  • Assist with ordering as needed.




  • Follow up on credit issues as appropriate.




  • Set-up of standard orders and handling of any client requests relative to the ordering or delivery process.




  • P.O. issues.




  • Manage assigned territory with a high level of independent judgment and decision making based upon the needs of the client base and opportunities within the business. Execute in-services to minimize product loss within assigned accounts.




  • Act as the liaison to the plant in taking a proactive response to resolving technical or product issues which are within individual scope of service. Determine the appropriate time to request additional internal resources to resolve or expand client opportunities.




  • Manage product complaints and service deviations by partnering with account management team members to help ensure all appropriate information is communicated to the QA Team at the facility and arrive at a positive resolution and address process issues to avoid future repetition.




  • Call and visit customers to build relationships at all levels of the customer.




  • Drive client retention and satisfaction by providing a positive customer service experience within assigned accounts.




  • Assist Client Relations Manager with RSP pack management at account which includes OR observation and recommendations which improve OR efficiencies and financial impact for both the customer and SRI Healthcare.




  • Assist with product/business implementation of new products/accounts (inventory logistics, purchase orders, delivery schedules, in services, service process debrief, etc.).




  • Increase product penetration within existing accounts by notifying Client Relations Manager of opportunities as it relates to any specific client needs/requests.




  • Identify and coordinate instrument returns to customers as needed and ensure emphasis is placed on program value.




  • Assist with and drive improvements where appropriate in logistics coordination with facility and client.




  • Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.




  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.




  • Manage and Document all activities in Salesforce.com



WORKING CONDITIONS:



  • Normal work conditions will vary and will include exposure to office, sterile processing department, and operating room environments.




  • Will come into contact with blood and body fluids. Must be willing and able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to the work environment. PPE may include gloves, liquid proof gowns, and face protection. This list is not all inclusive.




  • Requires vaccinations in accordance with hospital guidelines.




  • Requirements will vary by client location.



Travel required within assigned territory 95%.

EXPEREINCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience and exposure to the operating room environment in a clinical or sales capacity or preferably familiar with several functional areas within a hospital environment




  • Proven customer relationship development/management skills required.




  • Clinical exposure with an emphasis on OR process/product/procedure experience is preferred.




  • Ability to identify and understand customer needs and develop corresponding solutions.




  • Ability to uncover and anticipate customer needs and identify sales opportunities through day to day conversations with key clients.




  • Excellent people skills with an emphasis on the ability to listen and effectively communicate with potential customers about product and application. Apply the principles and methods of persuasive speaking, discussion and debate.




  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations with limited standardization.




  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.




  • Ability to learn basic principles of PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets.




  • Demonstrate outstanding self-management skills (Problem solving, communication, time management, sound judgment and maturity, strong teaming).




  • Ability to understand relative scientific and technical journal text, financial reports and legal documents.




  • Commitment to the client and to SRI Healthcare to drive outstanding customer satisfaction and optimal business performance.




  • Ability to understand the health care market and the ability to demonstrate SRI Healthcare’ position in providing solutions to current and future clients.



Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED required.




  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.



Sales and marketing training or experience may be considered a substitute for education
