Job Description:
As a Plastipak Injection Production Technician, you operate injection molding equipment to manufacture plastic containers in a clean & safe work environment. You’ll be joining a team of Associates who take pride in maintaining our high quality standards & our positive team culture.

You Will
- Operate injection molding equipment in a safe manner
- Monitor & troubleshoot equipment, making adjustments & repairs to assure optimal production/operating performance
- Assure customer requirements are always met by performing quality checks for specifications such as bottle weights & dimensions
- Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences
You Have
- Ability to work the following schedule: 6:45 pm - 7:00 am on a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat. This equates to 2 weekends per month off with a 3-day weekend
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of injection molding manufacturing experience, with Husky or Sidel injection molding systems preferred
- Mechanical, electrical or other technical/machine operation ability. This can be experience gained through paid or unpaid work
- Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
