This Nurse Manager OR will join an established leadership team to oversee all nursing care and departmental goals for this 12 OR department. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing nursing practice standards on the unit, supervising personnel, ensuring safe, quality patient care, overseeing fiscal management of the department and its resources, ensuring hospital, local, state, and federal rules and regulations are upheld to the highest standard, foster an environment of open communication among all members of interdisciplinary team, and working in close connection with the Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Surgery to ensure organization goals and objects are met. 

This RN Manager will report to the Director of Surgical Services and have 2 direct reports. 

It is required that this Manager have an active nursing license in the state of NY, a BSN, and previous leadership experience. This RN should also have previous clinical experience within the OR/Surgical Services. A Master's degree is not required but is preferred.
