This position is responsible for ensuring all assigned operations compliance with company and regulatory requirements by actively coordinating with the onsite EHS&Q owners. Act as EHS&Q point of contact for multiple assigned operations. Support multiple assigned operations to achieve EHS&Q goals. Drive consistent safety and quality performance with each operational area they support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements Company safety strategy, initiatives, and programs within the assigned operations.
Provide leadership, guidance to operations in the interpretation and application of safety practices.
Plan and implement safety policies such as work site safety practices, fire prevention, use of personal protection equipment and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment and other materials to comply with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations including hazmat requirements.
Review and monitor PIT operator qualification files and records including training logs and operator observation forms.
Manage occupational exposure processes to include risk and exposure assessments, develop and implement exposure monitoring plan, and manage exposure controls; observe employees at work to determine compliance with safety precautions and safety equipment used.
Inspect work environment, machinery, and equipment in establishment and other for conformance with governmental standards according to procedure in response to complaint or accident.
Develop job safety analysis and job breakdown sheet and ensure implementation.
Leads and participate in various audits (in person and remote) as they relate to safety protocols and process improvements.
Assist with developing new EHS & Q training initiatives and materials in various forms that could include paper, PPT, stream video or other media types.
Compiles EHS scorecards and other safety and quality metrics for assigned operations.
Communicate trends and improvement areas with assigned operations. Creates effective communication system that allows for timely and relevant updates between key internal clients.
Provide quality leadership for the assigned operations, including measurement, analysis, and development of goals and objectives, and the strategies and tactics to meet them.
Serve as a trainer for Safety and Quality programs.
Support Fleet Safety objectives for the operation to help reduce the probability of serious injury.
Participate in Accident/Investigations and root cause analysis for over the road injuries/accidents.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in related field; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (experience should be a minimum of 5 years in lieu of education). Professional registration i.e., BCSP or similar will be an advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work with minimal supervision. Thorough knowledge of intermediate math concepts and the ability to apply them to the job. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow through. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment as dictated by the duties of the job and perform data entry and typing functions.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVEL
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, see clearly and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds unassisted.
Travel within a regional assigned area up to 25% of the time should be expected.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and performed in a climate controlled environment with adequate ventilation. This position will be exposed to Warehouse working conditions; Exposure to vibration, improperly illuminated or awkward and confining work spaces. Exposure to some degree of varying seasonal temperatures. Working above ground level where the possibility of falling exists. Loud noises typical.
