Job Description:

A new opportunity has become available at a highly accredited hospital in central California near the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range for a Risk Manager. This hospital is an acute care facility with 180+ beds that has grown extensively over the last several years to get to their current level of quality care and list of services. The facility is made up of some of the top medical professionals in the area, and is a highly trusted organization. 

Reporting directly up to the VP of Quality, the Risk Manager is in charge of managing the hospitals patient safety and risk management programs. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role is highly preferred for consideration as it will lead to much greater success in this position overall. Risk Manager must also have an active California RN license and experience within a California acute care facility. 

Some responsibilities of the Risk Manager are:

• Support hospitals customer service goals while staying cooperative with patients and employees


• Develop working relationships with Risk Management and Patient Safety officers


• Work with staff members at all levels and be able to manager lower leveled employees
