The Software Engineering Senior Advisor will be responsible for counsel and advice to top management on significant Engineering matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Designs and develops a consolidated conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which have all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client, and, Benefits data.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and support onboarding new clients, adding new capabilities to the framework, entity mapping, configuring business rules, and adopting new technologies.

  • Developing Data ingestion framework using spark (big data), Drools, Java/J2EE micro services, spring boot and Kafka

  • Work with architects and principal engineers to identify new technology and take it from developing POC to production deployment

  • Work closely and align with all partners and clients. Also, maintain effective communication

  • Configure Business Rules using Drools.

  • Production support, release deployment and Provide Mentorship

  • Requirement analysis, provide technical direction, and implement cost-saving solution.

  • Demonstrate the application to key stakeholders and provide training to team and users.

  • Address performance concerns and setup monitoring and alerting using splunk, new relic

  • Responsible for configuring the applications for DevOps using Jenkins and GIT and build pipeline using Jenkins.

  • Deploy to the multi cloud (Hybrid Model) in Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Open Shift and AWS

  • Create data pipelines for Streaming sources like Kafka.

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications


  • High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of work experience in application engineering

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in developing data pipelines involving Apache Spark and Java for batch and streaming data from multiple data sources.

  • Experience in stream data, such as Kafka and MQ desired.

  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines utilizing GIT, JFrog Artifactory, and Jenkins.

  • Experience working with Droolsbusiness rule management system.

  • Experience working with java/spring boot programming.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB. Relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

  • Experience in building production resilient products with monitoring and alerting using Splunk, New relic etc.

  • Experience in OpenShift and AWS

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders or team members to resolve issues

  • Creating process flows and diagrams necessary to assist the requirements-gathering process

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and applications.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 121,900 - 203,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
