What You’ll Do

• Lead trade show and special events planning
  
  
  • Collaborate with the members of our sales and marketing team and organizers to define the strategy and event requirements.
  
  
  • Manage registration process & event calendar
  
  
  • Work with on-site Trades Show Services vendors and venues
  
  
  • Coordinate shipping & receiving of trade show materials
  
  
  • Organize promo items and special needs of FIRST personnel attending trade shows
  
  
  • Track trade show expenses, preparing ROI report
  
  
  • Survey attendees post event
  
  
  • Recommend and implement marketing strategies pre & post show
  
  
  
  


• Manage inventory of promotional items
  
  
  • Research and recommend items to be purchased
  
  
  • Maintain inventory management system
  
  
  • Ensure timely payment of all invoices and purchased and monitor expenditures to budget
  
  
  
  


• Support email marketing campaigns related to event and show attendance
  • Design, create content and set up email campaigns
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated marketing and event planning interest or experience


• Excellent project management skills and organizatio


• Well-organized and detail oriented with superior time management abilities


• Solid computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Constant Contact/Mailchimp


• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM a plus


• Excellent communication and writing skills


• Associates Degree or BS/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
