Job Description:

Responsible for managing an analytical products client servicing unit or function. Accountable for the performance management process and staffing for the unit. Participates in developing the strategic plan and manages the unit''s expenses. Works with clients to provide on-going satisfaction with investment services. Provides consulting expertise to clients and internal partners and staff. 1. Manages a performance analytics client servicing unit or function. Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and development needs, and establishes performance standards for the unit.2. Determines staffing needs, makes hiring and firing decisions, handles salary administration, and ensures resources are available to accomplish priorities.3. Participates in developing the business unit strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit. Follows through to ensure objectives are met.4. Develops unit(s) budget and manages the expenses for the unit.5. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.6. Works with clients to provide on-going satisfaction of investment services.7. Oversees support staff and production process.8. Oversees and develops complex analytical products and services to clients.9. Provides consulting expertise to clients and internal partners and staff.
7 to 10 years of investment consulting experience, with some management experience preferred. Knowledge of investment vehicles, laws, and regulations and economic conditions that affect investments in order to provide services toclients. Analytical and problem solving skills are required to understand and resolve investment solutions for clients. Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the unit goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of the staff.
