Forklift Operator - third shift at Amsted Rail in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

·    Maintain daily log and assigned checklist of assigned forklift.

·    Perform routine driver’s check on fluid levels and general condition of forklift.

·    Load/unload or stage materials as needed to assure production flow.

·    Operate a forklift in a safe manner.

·    Complete material requisitions as required.

·    Accurately enter time and labor reporting daily.

·    Work safely and maintain a clean work area.

·    H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.

·    1 year experience in a manufacturing position.

·    Must obtain forklift operator’s authorization (company training provided).

·    Basic knowledge of manufacturing orders, parts and raw materials.

·    Ability to follow clearly defined work instructions and work independently.

·    Ability to sit for approximately 10 hours per day.

·    Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. approximately 3-5 times per hour.

·    Ability to lift 85 lbs to change propane tank on forklift 1-2 times per day.
