Job Description:

An established acute care hospital located in western North Carolina is now searching for an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join their award-winning healthcare organization.

This leading not-for-profit healthcare center is home to just over 200 inpatient beds and offers a variety of acute care, primary care, and tertiary care services. This location provides a number of award-winning services including cardiovascular care, oncology, surgical services, behavioral health, emergency and critical care, rehabilitative services, and much more.

Reporting to the Manager of Sterile Processing, the Sterile Processing Technician will manage the cleaning, sterilization, assembling, and storing of all sterile items. The Sterile Processing will also pull case carts for the operating room team, ensure all needed supplies are present, orders supplies and leads stocking for the central sterile team. There are multiple shift options available for full-time employees.

Requirements Include:

• Current CRCST or CBSPD sterile processing certifications


• Prior working experience as a sterile processing technician


• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
