Alvarez & Marsal Taxand UK LLP is looking for highly motivated, analytical, inquisitive and numerate individuals to join our market leading Executive Compensation Services practice. Due to continued business growth and investment in building our team, graduate opportunities are available for those interested in advising the Boards and executive management of a wide variety of clients from large companies to tech start-ups and privately managed businesses. We are currently recruiting for a September 202 3 start date.

Consultants in A&M's Executive Compensation Services practice provide independent advice to the Remuneration Committees and executive management of companies in the UK, Europe and rest of the world; helping them to ensure that executive reward is aligned to their strategy, takes account of the views of their largest investors and other stakeholders, is compliant with regulatory and legal requirements and is explained clearly and succinctly.

Whether they are experiencing strategic change: such as preparing for an IPO , divesting or acquiring businesses or refreshing their executive team, our clients rely on our expertise to ensure that their most senior talent is rewarded in a way that is fair, appropriate and tied to robust performance requirements.

You will join a team of high-achieving professionals and benefit from personal coaching and mentoring from senior leaders with years of experience obtained in the Big Four, broader Management Consultancy, Legal and in in-house reward. Throughout the three-year programme, successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in reward strategy and philosophy development, target setting and financial modelling, pay benchmarking, shareholder liaison, corporate governance, accounting, regulation as well as developing a broad range of consultancy skills.

Candidates who wish to gain a professional qualification will be supported through training such as the ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and from your first day in the office you will be involved in providing commercial and practical executive compensation advice to our clients and expanding your own knowledge and skillsets.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

  • 2:1 or higher undergraduate degree

  • A-level ABB (or equivalent)

  • Evidence of significant non-academic achievements

  • Business level English is a pre- requisite, and any other languages are a bonus

  • IT skills - proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level
