Job Description:

A leading acute care hospital located in southwestern Virginia is now searching for an experienced Night Shift Emergency Department RN to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This 100-bed acute care hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and provides expert level care to a growing community of nearly 40,000 individuals. This location offers a number of services including inpatient and outpatient care, surgical services, emergency and intensive care, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, oncology, women’s care, and rehabilitative services.

The Emergency Department RN will join an accredited chest pain center that is nationally recognized for its commitment to quality patient care. Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Emergency Department RN will help with the development and evaluation of patient care plans and will work in collaboration with various healthcare providers. The Emergency Department RN will work full-time 7-10hr night shifts with rotating weekends.

Requirements Include:

• Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Virginia or compact license


• TNCC/CEN certifications highly preferred


• Prior working experience in an inpatient emergency department
