ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position. Adheres to Associate Expectation Agreement, established department policies and procedures, and ensures timely customer service of current and potential students.
Meets with prospective students to review required forms and applications the student and/or parent will need to complete. Reviews documents for completion and accuracy before accepting from students. Scans and links submitted forms into electronic student file in Image Now. Updates data in Campus Vue and CLA appropriately based on information received.
Assists students and parents with directions for requesting FSA User IDs.
Assists student with directions on how to complete the FAFSA/FOTW (Free Application for Federal Student Aid/FAFSA on the Web Worksheet).
Assists student/parent with directions for completing MPNs (Master Promissory Notes).
Assists student with directions on completing online student loan entrance counseling; provides in-person student loan counseling for students who are unable to complete online counseling.
Conducts presentations, workshops, etc. for students and families regarding financial aid topics.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree required.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
At least one year of experience in a customer service required.
Knowledge and experience with MS Office.
