Job Description:
The Brand Execution Manager provides day to day support for the execution of Product Brand assets for Best Buy’s Exclusive Brands (ExB). Key assets include Packaging artwork and structure design, Documentation and E-Commerce content design such as images, videos, copy, features, specs and other content as appropriate.
This person is expected to effectively collaborate with a wide range of cross functional teams, including ExB US & Asia, Brand Marketing, Digital Assets, Creative Services, Legal and Sustainability to bring Best Buy’s Exclusive Brands to life for our customers!
This role is hybrid, which means you must be located within a drivable distance to our Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, MN. You might be asked to come into the office up to 3 days per week.
What you’ll do
Project Task Management
- Monitor and/or complete all workorders, forms and tasks
- Ensure that key deliverable dates are completed on time, working closely with Product Managers, Asia Project Lead (s), Asia Brand Execution Lead (s) and Agency creative/production team(s)
- Attend cross functional team meetings & run daily task reports from workflow systems to identify and resolve that need to be completed by cross functional team
- Lead the execution of any creative projects, starting with customer insights that are developed and provide creative input to new projects that are not within guidelines to maintain brand consistency
- Manage day to day relationship with agencies, including regularly scheduled creative reviews
- Manage the governance and creation of creative and production guidelines
- Work with internal/external art directors/copywriters
- Ensure updated Enterprise e-commerce content standards are communicated and resolved with internal partners and agencies
- Primary liaison for development of new and/or enhanced workflow/process with the Enterprise Digital & Technology and E-Commerce teams to drive systems and process enhancements
- Lead development of new capabilities/enhancements in the ExB Brand Execution workflow tools (Product Management, Remote Approval, Project/Task Management, Digital Asset Management, Reporting, etc.)
- Reconcile monthly billing detail from agencies and provide summary with any outstanding actions to leadership for approval
- Consolidate global operational reporting metrics into monthly/quarterly business summary for review with leadership
- 5+ years experience in Product Development, including the development of creative content, in either digital or packaging.
- 2+ years in project OR traffic management, within an agency or corporate environment
- 2+ years developing e-commerce content strategies for consumer electronics products across digital platforms
- Highly prefer someone who has digital experience
