Primary Objective:

This position will be responsible for maintaining existing business and growing designated accounts in e-commerce. The responsibilities include being the initial point of contact, assisting in the implementation of branding and marketing programs and identifying prospecting new business working the Director of the Account or lead sales person.


The position will establish relationships within the assigned accounts, work closely with the lead sales person to drive sales in new account and maximizing full account potential of existing accounts through process improvement, and SKU performance analysis to ensure proper product mix and assortment.



Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer sales and consumer satisfaction/loyalty to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Establish strong rapport with all critical account stakeholders.
  • Create and manage up-to-date reporting for out-of-stock SKU analysis.
  • Sustain product and industry knowledge of emerging eCommerce processes and technology trends.
  • Proactively manage account sales, programming and campaigns
  • Identify new business opportunities, prospects, and other verticals; maintain opportunities list.
  • Onboard and lead SKU set up process and deep dive sales trending for key accounts.
  • Coordinate with lead sales person to maintain accurate forecast and opportunity status by account.
  • Establish systematic flags within AS400 to enforce MAP pricing violations.
  • Serve as Account Manager for RugsDirect.com, Build.com, and Staples.
  • Provide lead sales person recommendation to identify opportunities to move slow moving inventory for daily sale and flash sale programming.
  • Track and create timestamp for brick and mortar .Com exclusives entering into eCommerce backing code.



Skills:

  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Create computer animations, infographics, and other media that can be shared via digital channels. Create slide shows and other multimedia.
  • Demonstrate strong journalistic skills and judgment.
  • Develop and post completed video projects online and/or share via social media and other digital communications channels.
  • Strong sense of time management and ability to work within a deadline required
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and have the capability to work in fast pace environment
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously and in a team setting
  • Must be comfortable in a role with sole decision-making authority



Experience & Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
  • Advanced knowledge of AS400 systems, Microsoft Access and Excel are required.
  • 5 years of experience in eCommerce, Customer Support, Sales or Product Management
  • Experience resolving customer issues and escalating, when necessary.
