Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly reserving calculations for US Commercial products


• Analyze and explain drivers of claim results to various stakeholders


• Review and update key reserving assumptions through periodic studies


• Identify and implement process and methodology improvements as needed to keep processes efficient


• Manage and develop team of 3 professionals


• Collaborate with various matrix partners, including BFO's, Financial Planning, Accounting, Pricing, Claim Operations, and External Auditors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field


• 6+ years of actuarial experience


• ASA designation strongly preferred, FSA designation preferred


• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Demonstrated attention to detail and experience working with large datasets


• Management experience preferred, not required

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 129,200 - 215,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
