Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
3rd Shift Rebar Fabricator
PURPOSE:
Load Truckswith rebar with a forkliftfrom list(s).
Empty out shop straight bars and some bent bar
Keep yard organized.
BASIC FUNCTIONS
- Must adhere to Harris Rebar's safety programs and standards.
- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar's vision and values.
- Safely drive a forklift
- Tie bundles
- Move long bars and stack bundles evenly.
- Keep bar removed from shop organized in lot.
- Count out stock correctly
- Keep lot clean and organized
- Be able to read tags and bar-lists and understand the shapes
- Good math skills
