Duties and Responsibilities


  • Examine existing process and procedure for how instructions, guides, product documents and artwork are created, updated, and managed
  • Identify stakeholders in the product documentation process, such as Product, Engineering, Marcom, Tech Support, Purchasing, Etc
  • Interview stakeholders on their past and present experiences in the process and their thoughts on future improvements
  • Research healthcare/medical device industry standards for instructions, guides, and controlled product documents/artwork
  • Research other industries for instructions, guides, and controlled product documents for style references or inspiration on newer, better ways
  • Research software or platforms for more efficient and less technically-skilled instruction creation
  • Research software or platforms for more efficient storage and document control of instructions and documentation
  • Make recommendations and present findings on an updated instructions and documentation process
  • Engage in day-to-day needs of instructions, guides, product documents and artwork to keep current process moving but also to experience process first hand

Requirements for Considration

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Working towards a degree in Marketing, Comunications, or a related field
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines, conflicting priorities, or a high-volume workload
  • Creative problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proof read
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in diagramming and flowcharting
  • Experience with Adobe products, specifically InDesign and Acrobat
  • Willingness to work within a team environment and independently

Work Hours

3 days on-site, flexible to your schedule Monday - Friday during hours of 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Minimum 20 hours, all hours worked over 40 in a workweek will be paid overtime rate
