Security Operations Center Coordinator

This is a Non-Exempt position starting at $18.25 an hour

Shift available 1:30p-10pm

BONUS! In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for our quarterly bonus program based on attendance and performance (subject to applicable taxes and withholdings), for a total of up to $3,000.00 USD every
year.

3 WEEKS OF VACATION! Interface Employees accrue vacation throughout the calendar year on a per pay period basis for a total of 3 weeks of vacation per calendar year.

The Security Operations Center Coordinator process incoming signals in adherence to policy and follow designated procedures. Alarm Monitoring Agents will respond and communicate with Interface’s customers in a positive and pleasant manner.



Responsibilities

  • Process incoming alarm signals, for example- burglary or fire alarms
  • Dispatch proper authorities and notify responsible parties
  • Run and complete shift reports
  • Communicate with previous shift and handle what needs to be done
  • Answer phones
  • Follow up with customers on problems
  • Control nuisance and/or faulty equipment by issuing service tickets
  • Log all shift activity
  • Train new employees
  • Other duties as assigned by Management
  • Work Mid shift 1:30PM CST- 10:00PM CST


Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous Customer Service Experience a plus!

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with customers over the phone in all manner of conditions
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work some holidays
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Computer skills
