Vericast is looking for an Engineer who can design, create, update, and support a set of complex systems that enable business capabilities. They will work within the business to implement new technology while securing and maintaining the existing infrastructure. This position requires both Security Operations and Windows System Engineering experience.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers personal tasks on time and leads the delivery of tasks for natural or cross-functional workgroup
Estimates component/application system level and enterprise solution work efforts.
Maintains up-to-date, detailed knowledge of the IT industry including awareness of new or improved security solutions, policies, processes, and procedures.
Participates or leads cross-functional initiatives with deliverables and meets quality standards on time.
Creates and maintains policies that ensure all systems follow regulatory security standards and compliance.
Creates and maintains System Design Documents. Develops reports. Provides estimates on work efforts.
Maintains current understanding of various computer systems, networking, and architecture.
Provides guidance to and assists in the training of less experienced individuals. Provides on-call support as required.
Responsible for fulfilling end user requests and issue escalations.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in related field of study, Certification, or some combination of additional years of related experience.
EXPERIENCE
5+ Years with bachelor's degree or 11+ years' work experience
5 or more years of experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
5 or more years of experience with administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft components of Active Directory, Account/group administration, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File backup/restore operations in large environments.
An understanding of regulatory and compliance mandates, including but not limited to HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2.
Experience with one or more tools such as HCL BigFix, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, Venafi Certificate Management, Thales DSM, OneIdentity Safeguard/Onelogin, Sailpoint IAM/FAM is a plus.
Experience with zero trust and micro segmentation design/deployment is a plus.

Maintains data security strategies.
Salary: $85,400 - $105,000 \nThe ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
