Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate and program CNC machinery and/or equipment operation (ISO, parametric and through CAD Systems) in a safe and productive manner in accordance with Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions.

2. Develop processes and programs for parts to be machined;

3. Analyze the lifetime of the tools used and preserve them;

4. Ensure that machinery and equipment are used according to the specifications;

5. Work according to the guideleines of the sector leader, always having as reference the guidelines contained in the tooling manual and the work instructions;

6. Acting with reading and interpreting drawings, machining parts for manufacturing molds, tools, devices and replacement components, according to technical drawing, sketch or sample;

7. Caring for the cleaning and organization of machines, tools and the workstation;

8. Sharpening tools and components; visual inspection of product to ensure quality;
9.  Dimensional checks, fill out dimensional reports as per specifications after machining completion;
10. Register the beginning and end of each task in the digital collectors;
11.  Must be proficient using measuring tools and reading blue prints;
12.  Follows all applicable safety policies and practices, including but not limited to, use of all required PPE, ensuring machine guards and safety features are working and promoting good safety practices.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience


• CNC Programming and Operation Course


• Proven experience as CNC Machine Operator


• Must have own tools.

Knowledge and Skills

• Follow directions and work well in a team.


• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.


• CNC, Lathe, and milling machine operator; toolmaker


• TPM; Andon; SMED; OEE and Unplanned Down time
