Overview

The Business Development Representative will maintain current customer base and develop connections with prospective customers. Will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing existing current and new relationships with Superior Ambulance/Metro Paramedics.

Responsibilities

• Seek out and utilize customer and market data in order to establish new customers.


• Creates sales strategies to obtain new accounts.


• Prospects for appropriate new customers.


• Communicates new opportunities, competitive activity, and business events to the Vice-President.


• Maintains current customer base.


• Responsible for cultivating new relationships.


• Must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate action plans and effectively determine where focus needs to be placed.


• Responsible for implementing and executing new strategies to achieve sales goals.


• Determines strategies to sell/market Superior Ambulance's services.


• Researches and sources new market niches to increase/maintain volumes.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• S/ B.A preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years sales experience.


• Proven track record in sales required.


• Must have strong interpersonal skills, independent, self-motivator.


• Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.


• Healthcare/medical background preferred.


• Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Word skills required.


• Requires driving to various locations & may involve extreme weather conditions.


• Requires current and valid driver's license and clean driving record.


• Evening and weekend hours required.
