Our Restoration & Renewal practice provide owners and managers with solutions to a wide range of Building Envelope, Historic Preservation, Structural, and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems needs for existing properties of every use, age and construction type. Our multidisciplinary design and assessment services cover a wide range of needs. We perform condition assessments (including hands-on inspections from suspended scaffolds and rope access), investigations, feasibility studies and peer reviews. We design repairs, renovations and alterations and oversee their execution in the field.



The Role



We have an opportunity for an Architect Internship for our Restoration & Renewal Practice.



Responsibilities:

• On-site inspection/investigation including surveying and documenting observations, photographing and sketching.


• Design and detailing for façade rehabilitation and roofing replacement of various types of existing buildings.


• Preparation of Technical and investigative reports


• Maintain project records.

Qualifications:

• Senior Ungraduated going into final year with a concentration in Architecture.


• There is an opportunity for this internship to continue throughout the school year so the ideal candidate would be studying at a school in New York and graduating in 2024


• Excellent Academic Record.


• Experience with using AutoCAD.

Compensation

The rate for this position generally is$18-$25hourly.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byNew YorkEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
