Inside Sales Representative (WFH+ Uncapped Commission) at Best Buy in Novi, Michigan

Job Description:

This class will be based out of Best Buy Health's Novi, Michigan location. The person who fills this role must be within a 60 mile driving distance to the Novi MI office.

CLASS START DATE: 4/24/23

PAY: Base pay, plus uncapped commission. Sales agents make $50,000-$80,000 a year.

HOURS OF OPERATION: 9am-9pm, Monday-Sunday. Various shifts available after first 90 days.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Direct Sales Representative receives inbound sales calls and activations calls, listens to and answers customer questions, and ensures that every customer has a positive experience with Best Buy Health. We use a consultative sales approach, ensuring that our team listens closely to make the best recommendation for products, plans, and value-added services that can sometimes even save a customer’s life. A successful team member will listen intently, understand customer needs, and be able to fully explain the benefits and value of our life-saving products and services. We’re looking for candidates who excel at problem solving, kind and direct communication, and are performance driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to a high volume of inbound calls from existing and/or new customers, providing customers with relevant, accurate information on products and services


• Answer customer questions and provide appropriate solutions


• Maintain a customer focus by listening actively and maintaining composure


• Present and sell new products and additional value added services to both new and existing customers, including processing sales orders


• Activate new lines of service for phones/devices purchased through retail partners


• Answer customer’s questions and provide appropriate solutions


• Maintain performance based on goals and objectives


• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED

• 1 year of sales experience

• 1 year experience with Microsoft Office Suite


• 1 year call center sales


• Prior experience meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas


• Computer skills including typing, ability to navigate multiple apps/systems, and prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite
