Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to prevent the spread of infectious diseases within the hospital


• Lead and manage a team of infection prevention professionals


• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of infection prevention measures and make recommendations for improvement


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that infection prevention strategies are integrated into all aspects of patient care


• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in the field and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations


• Communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and families

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN state License


• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field


• Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field preferred


• Certified Infection Preventionist (CIC) certification


• At least 5 years of experience in infection prevention in the hospital setting


• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
