Arcosa Aggregates is seeking applicants for a Dozer Operator. You will operate one or more types of heavy construction equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators and/or dozers (Dozer Operator) in an effort to move aggregate material within the plant. Dozer experience is required, and other heavy equipment operation experience is preferred.
Functions/Duties:
Perform general maintenance, minor repairs and regular service on mobile equipment and crushing and screening equipment daily as directed by supervisor.
General cleanliness of assigned equipment.
Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records, and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor.
Perform other related duties as required.
Assist with safety audits.
Some local travel may be required to help at different local sites.
Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.
Operate heavy construction equipment in a professional & efficient manner to maintain production goals.
Long hours and some weekends may be required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Must have Dozer Operator experience.
CAT D8 or CAT D10
Ability to accept responsibility for his/her actions specifically Safety related
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.
Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold and rain.
Typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, but may be required to work overtime, some weekends.
Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds.
