The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Spa Sales Manager to join the team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

What will I be doing?

As a Spa and Wellness Sales Manager, you will identify and execute sales and marketing initiatives to support strategic goals within for the Spa and Wellness Department. You will o versee Sales of Spa Club and Wellness Membership including marketing, lead generation, contracting, ongoing promotions, and renewals. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

Sales


  • Act as liaison, supporting ancillary sales strategy & distribution to drive incremental revenue generating initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales Managers on new group business prospects, site inspections, and the development of dynamic group proposals and contracts.
  • In collaboration with Director of Spa & Wellness, create Group Wellness & Activities menu highlighting unique activations to drive engagement and capture. Ensure menu is visible and easily accessible.
  • Create an effective group turnover process for seamless execution of spa program by Group Coordinator.
  • Actively seek opportunities to engage non-contracted groups through Passkey.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Spa & Wellness, identify opportunities for guests to buy and book wellness & leisure activities along the guest journey.
  • Engage in sales activities outside of the hotel to increase external exposure including solicitation of partnerships with local hotels and residences, third party concierge and activity groups, and local businesses.
  • Maintain existing relationships with current accounts providing resources to support revenue maximization.

Marketing

  • Actively seek internal marketing opportunities to increase guest capture and spa visibility. Partner with Marketing on coordination of collateral and resource needs.
  • Support development of inspirational promotional content; maximize internal and external exposure efforts.
  • Support cross department selling of spa through ongoing communication and training and where applicable, internal incentive programs.
  • Actively seek internal marketing opportunities to increase guest capture and spa visibility. Collaborate with Marketing on coordination of collateral and resource needs.
  • Support Director of Spa & Wellness on internal sales strategies and goals for spa service providers and concierge. Liaise with vendors on required support and opportunities.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
