Perform all automotive diagnostic (Scan Tool) work including windshield scan tool target assembly & set up, required measurements, pre and post scanning of vehicle, pre and post test driving of vehicle, and troubleshooting as needed
Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to mechanical individuals which may include employees, clients on a daily and consistent basis
Manage scheduling of automotive diagnostic “calibration” jobs including coordinating with automotive glass retailers on scheduling
Develop and utilize working knowledge in the use and maintenance of advanced and OE level diagnostic scan tools
Serve as primary client contact as needed within the service process including Tier 1 customer service
Maintain local customer relationships and assist sales team in commercial activity. Including:
Participation in sales blitz & other commercial actions
Identifying potential customers
Demonstrations
Responsible for managing operational costs to budget for local market
Manage billing customers, and collecting for all jobs as needed
Track and report on specified quality measures
Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business conduct and Its Values
Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Safety Standards and Practices
Other duties as assigned

Interacts with external customers performing calibrations sales and services.
Interacts with internal departments and levels of management regarding calibration solutions.

Qualifications Required:
2-3 years of car dealership experience OR experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an Automotive Technician
Other Requirements:
Successfully complete in-house ADAS and mobile diagnostics training.
Working knowledge in the use and maintenance of Aftermarket and OE level diagnostic scan tools
Working knowledge in the use and maintenance of advanced and OE level diagnostic scan tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interface with people of a variety of backgrounds and technical expertise
Ability to learn new technologies and processes, and adapt to change
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision with ability to work independently
