Installation Coordinator at Best Buy in Novi, Michigan

Job Description:

This role is hybrid, which means you must be located within a drivable distance to the Novi Best Buy Health office. You may be asked to come into the office up to 2 days per week.

As a Virtual Installer, you will work closely with our members to get nationwide installations of medical equipment scheduled. The Installation Coordinator is assigned a region and works closely with supply chain and Geek Squad within their region to ensure that work orders are being completed in a timely manner. This role works closely with other teams internally.

The Installation group works diligently to ensure that lifesaving equipment is installed in our customers’ homes timely. They work closely with other departments at Best Buy Health (Logistics, Care, Tech Support, Recovery) in addition to working with outside vendors in a collaborative effort to keep our customers safe. Their main responsibilities include the remote support of scheduling and performing virtual installations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Route all orders off the Default report timely

  • Daily outbound and inbound calls with Case Managers and our members

  • Daily communication to Geek Squad Health Agents via HCRM and phone calls

  • Update all systems with detailed notes

  • Ensure that all work orders are completed timely, adhering to payor SLA’s

  • Handle escalated installation/service concerns timely

  • Document and resolve the Geek Squad updates daily

  • Complete all assigned scheduling calls daily and consistently hit all daily, and weekly goals

  • Manage assigned region using the installation metrics

  • Cover inbound phone calls for the team

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a technical or product focused position
