Position Summary

Assists in Implementing business solutions under direction and in a low risk environment that enable the organization to successfully maintain rates and products. Performs basic analytics, assists in enhancing existing applications/systems, established business or technical processes through incremental changes.

Additional duties and responsibilities for this role within Auto or Home Product Development may include:

  • Prepare, file, monitor status, and maintain correspondence via the SERFF filing system with various state insurance departments.
  • Maintenance of Design Books, Master Lists, Forms on Demand, and GCF system forms.
  • Working with Content Manager and managing the form database in HARVEST/ECM.
  • Working with other Personal Lines areas and Product Development Specialists on shared project success.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assists in analyzing, overseeing, and performing the processing of data requests to and from various reporting bureaus.

Assists with performing testing procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of forms.

Systems Support (Mainframe, Application Configuration, Test Automation, Systems Integration).

Assists in the design, development, testing and implementation of basic system configuration of rates, rules and forms in support of new and enhanced rates and products.

Analytics (Business, Quality, Rating, Bureau and Statistical Reporting).

Analyzes straightforward business, technical process, system and/or technical problems.

Elicits, records and validates system configuration requirements for new and enhanced rates, rules and forms.

Analyzes and implements basic requested ERIE product changes with low level impact.

Learns and utilizes systems language, database access and other technologies to improve processing efficiency.

Assists with quality assurance testing to ensure the accuracy of systems output.

Ensures system stability and performs required maintenance. Monitors systems for issues and recommends improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements and Experience Equivalencies:

Bachelor's degree, required; or

Associate's degree, plus two years of related experience, required; or

High school diploma, or GED, plus four years of related experience, required.

Willingness to pursue General Insurance designation or other professional designation preferred.
