Position Summary
In this role you will play a vital part in supporting the tax department's goal of optimizing tax provision, tax compliance processes, tax planning and managing tax risk.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to manage a large portfolio of tax operation projects, leveraging tax process and systems enhancements along with technical and leadership capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop automation for timely and quality analysis of US tax provision, with particular emphasis on US international tax analysis processes
Drive improvements in tax accounting processes to increase efficiency and decrease risk of error
Monitor the tax landscape and assist with the ongoing analysis of tax positions and internal controls to identify and address potential tax burdens and risks
Manage and review US international tax calculations, including but not limited to E&P analysis, GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT, CAMT, FTC
Monitor US and international income tax legislation and evaluate impact to the company
Focus on design, implementation, and optimization of large volume of US tax computations
Identify transactions that have tax implications and model the impact of various alternative scenarios on the company's tax profile
Oversee the review of US international income tax returns, disclosure statements and elections as they relate to restructuring and business transactions
Collaborate with Treasury to develop tax-efficient repatriation strategies that are in line with the goals of the company and execute on such strategies
Work closely with non-US tax teams in analyzing US tax implications of non-US operations
Support tax members in creating a climate that fosters professional development and establishes a structure to build superior tax accounting and reporting
Focus on effective teamwork within the tax function and business partners
Set high standards and demand high performance with clear accountabilities
Develop and maintain strong relationship with external auditors
Manage outside service provider relationships

At least 8+ years of overall tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or complex corporate in-house environment
In depth US tax knowledge, including US international tax compliance calculations
Proficiency in OneSource, ERP systems (preferably SAP) and automation tools
Skills & Abilities
Strong project management skills (organization, time management, etc.), with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
Strong analytical capabilities and judgment
Preferences
At least 10+ years of overall tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or complex corporate in-house environment
CPA, JD or Masters in Taxation
Big 4 or a combination with large multinational corporation
