About This Job
As a Wealth Management Assistant, you'll provided a high level of support to a team of Family Office Relationship Managers within Commerce Trust Company with all aspects of account administration, client communications and coordination with internal and external business partners for various types of fiduciary, agency and custody accounts.
Essential Functions
Provide a superior level of service to high net worth clientele and their business partners
Access and update information on trust accounting platform
Input and maintain customer information in client relationship management system
Initiate significant cash processing for Family Office relationships
Maintain various spreadsheets for compliance purposes
Address customer inquiries received via phone, email, or in person
Review/retrieval of tax forms from the Trust Share Site
Prepare documents necessary to facilitate the transfer and receipt of assets.
Assist in preparation of documentation necessary to establish various account types as well as track account funding
Assist in coordinating account termination process (i.e., circulate termination notices, value assets, prepare distribution schedule, coordinate transfer of assets, etc.)
Assist with resolution of operational issues with our internal and external business partners (Middle Office, Fee Unit, etc.)
Prepare documents to be filed in the administrative, investment and vault files
Coordinate courier and FedEx mailings
Prepare various administrative forms, presentations, reports, memorandums, letters and spreadsheets as requested
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm - Onsite at our Clayton Location

Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required, Associate's degree preferred
4+ years related experience in an office environment required
Previous experience in a financial or professional environment preferred
