Materials Systems Manager

Job Description: 

Materials Systems Manager positions offered by Jabil Inc. (St. Petersburg, FL). Implement digitalized business solutions for distinct functional areas, which involves customers’ and internal requirements to drive Supply Chain continuous improvements and accelerate the pace of the Supply Chain transformation. Assess and lead the development and deployment of Global Supply Chain solutions, lead the conceptualization and design of new Supply Chain solutions, and manage Supply Chain optimization projects. Collaborate with Jabil’s Supply Chain team to develop industry leading capabilities that improve Jabil’s performance and customer service levels. Work with divisional leads and key Supply Chain personnel and lead the development of analytics and metrics for all areas of materials management. Provide continuous support and expertise in Supply Chain tool development, enhancement, testing, and solution deployment. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Jabil’s Supply Chain capabilities and tools. Lead the conceptualization and design of new supply chain solutions, tools, and work with development teams to ensure clear understanding of design requirements. Manage supply chain optimization projects which encompass resources across many functional groups and regions. Provide effective leadership and cooperation with the Supply Chain group, IT, and Business Management teams for assigned projects.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of experience in the position offered or 6 years of experience conducting Supply Chain Management and IT developing software applications and solutions for Material Purchasing and Planning functional areas in the Electronics Manufacturing Services industry. Requires 4 years of experience: performing data management, creating reports and leading digital transformation manipulating data with Kinaxis Rapid Response, Microsoft Power BI, and SAP ERP modules; and performing Sales and Distribution, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, and Finance. Position reports to office in St. Petersburg, FL. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
