Medtronic is looking for a dynamic, motivated Communications Specialist to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage internal projects, collaborate with a team dedicated to employee and executive communications, and build relationships with strategic partners across the global operating unit, Cardiovascular Portfolio, and broader communications function. A Day in the Life

• Drives and implements internal communications programs and initiatives in collaboration with the Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit internal communications team.
• Manages communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization's reputation internally while driving employee engagement.
• Supports production of employee SharePoint site by executing web content design and visual asset creation, design, and static content updates. Writes stories and provides input on this site's editorial calendar, and develops/maintains the site's analytics and performance reports.
• Manages some email distributions; responsible for creating/maintaining distribution lists and performance metrics reporting for key distributions, in collaboration with project coordinator.
• Drives employee engagement through hybrid global meetings, including administering real-time meeting production schedules, producing meetings in real time, managing apps, and drafting executive pre- and post-meeting messages.
• Manages executive and meeting resource email boxes.
• Manages content and governance for employee videowall, including editorial calendar and implementation software.
• Handles the creation and implementation of multiple forms of internal strategic communication activities, programs and content guided by the Medtronic Mission and overall business strategy.
• Incorporates feedback mechanisms and metrics into communications programs, and implements changes based on key findings that increase effectiveness.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of Communications experience in either a corporate environment or agency OR advanced degree with 0 years of experience.

• Solid project and time management skills, including developing/administering timelines for projects
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and shift focus adeptly
• Microsoft Office suite prowess with an emphasis in PowerPoint; experience with Zoom, Eloqua, and SharePoint and overall tech savviness
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to engage, brief, and manage third-party vendors
• Strong relationship-building and influence management skills
• Resourcefulness, flexibility, and ability to work in ambiguous situations
• A team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and willingness to learn and do new things
• Ability to flex and work effectively in both hybrid and in-person settings

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive plan, which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP) here .

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
