This is your chance to be part of an in-house Global Revenue Management team that predicts consumer demand and optimizes hotel inventory and price availability. As an Analyst, Revenue Management Support - Projects, you will support the ultimate goal of maximizing Hilton's revenue growth through effective planning and strategies. On the GDM team reporting to Manager, Revenue Management Support, you will work on projects including analyzing and supporting the revenue management and distribution aspects of business initiatives. You will maintain standards for rate plans, rates, product sequencing, and other related processes supported by the teams associated with these areas of the business. In addition, you will support corporate partners in building and modifying rates centrally for specific regions, brands, or even globally. Your analytical skills will lend to identifying efficiencies and improvements in the process.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:


  • Build, maintain, and quality check new offers in CRS, GDS, and direct distribution channels.
  • Manipulate SQL queries to quality check data entered and improve Quality Check processes.
  • Support hotel inquiries via email and ticket submission processes and document the findings thoroughly.
  • Proactively audit and analyze Special Rate Plans (SRPs), rates, and accounts across all distribution channels regularly for issues.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Work with other Corporate teams on special project/program requests that impact CRS, GDS, OTA, and direct distribution channels.
  • Work internally with other functions to craft objectives and achievements that support the broader Commercial Services objectives.
  • Support other functions when demand is high by sharing the workload regardless of your core team responsibilities.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Create and maintain internal and external training and technical documentation for all team-facing and hotel-facing processes.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies using automation or streamlining that save time and money or generate additional revenue.
  • Collect and document business requirements and design test plans to ensure that projects and efficiencies are deployed accurately.
  • Facilitate testing among users, compile all test results, and actively communicate to ensure all issues are resolved post-deployment.
  • Build and maintain Personal Development Plans and actively participate in opportunities to learn offered by the team or department.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:


  • One (1) year of professional experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • You are a critical thinker with both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to use logic and reasoning to creatively identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions, or resolutions to hard problems.
  • You have strong collaboration skills with a results-focused attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can handle multiple projects within set timeframes and work effectively under time and resource constraints.
  • You have positive relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • You are a creative problem solver, who strives to gain the latest knowledge of hospitality industry trends, bold pricing, and new product offerings.

It would be useful if you have:

  • One (1) year of project management experience
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in the travel industry, distribution systems, and/or technical development roles
  • Proficiency with MS Access, Project, SQL, VB.NET, and/or VBA
