This position is responsible for processing customer purchase orders, maintaining internal and customer systems and providing commercial administrative sales support within the Business Unit and collaborating with the sales team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process customer purchase orders
Provide administrative support within the Business Unit including assigned tasks to analyze of commercial data
Collaborates with the sales team to process orders
Process production, service piece price and tooling purchase orders
Annually, participate in the budget process with associated ISM
Update business unit, commodity and finance SharePoint documents
Maintain five-year forecast in business unit/commodity Internal Sales Matrix (ISM) with accurate program and part information, based on purchase orders and input from the responsible managers
Submit ISM to finance monthly and perform monthly updates based on I.H.S. stated program changes
Assist A/R when needed by providing requested documents and communicating with the customer
Participate in TS Audit review of the business unit
Understands and properly utilizes internal systems and procedures such as Windchill, PDMLink, enterProj, AutoQuote, Net New Business, Vanguard, Sales Release (ST1), WERS, TeamCenter and SharePoint
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
Two - Three years professional experience in sales, purchasing, cost estimating, finance, customer relations/support or administration. Automotive experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with systems used for data and file entry, task management and queries
Ability to solve straight-forward problems, analyze possible solutions and understand key business drivers
Ability to communicate effectively and professional with customers, plant personnel and cross-functional teams
Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary

Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
