Position Overview:

As a Healthcare Construction Superintendent with 4+ years of hospital interior renovations, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing complex construction projects from start to finish. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of healthcare construction processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to make critical decisions to ensure successful project execution. You will be working closely with your Project Manager to take projects from pre-construction through completion. The work is primarily healthcare related with emphasis on interior renovations in an active facility (hospital and medical office buildings). Most of the projects will involve the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

Most of the work falls within the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities:


  • You must be comfortable leading teams of staff and sub-contractors; interfacing with clients; maintaining proper decorum in a setting where healthcare operations are continuing during construction, coordinating with municipal authorities and government oversight; and building relationships with key participants.

  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.

  • Ensure project timelines are met and report progress.

  • Implement and maintain a safe work and public/patient environment, including adhering to all company policy and OSHA regulations, Infection Control Risk Assessment protocols and Hospital safety guidelines.

  • Manage project budget and resources, including materials, equipment, and labor.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design and construction issues.

  • Provide regular progress reports to upper management, stakeholders, and owners.

  • Ensure that all construction activities are performed in compliance with building codes and regulations.
