Job Description:

Essential Functions:



  • Utilize industry and technical knowledge, stakeholder input, financial and operational analysis to identify productivity and cost saving opportunities, including but not limited to, prioritization and organization of simultaneous workflow duties, automation, and outsourcing.

  • Establish, document, and implement process for completion of post-close loan files, with a primary focus on processes related to completion of post consummation CDs.

  • Provide backup assistance to the VP, Consumer Direct as needed.

  • Identify continuous improvement needs for department functions; determine scope of each project, assure resources and execution as well as conduct effectiveness reviews in coordination with managers.

  • Direct effort to ensure functions related to field of expertise are operating in the most effective, accurate, and timely basis; implement tracking, data analysis, reporting and process improvement initiatives.

  • Establish productivity measurements; establish and track metrics for department.

  • Work cross-functionally to drive change, developing strong and effective internal and external relationships with stakeholders.

  • Complete regular and ad hoc data collection and analysis as needed, summarizing the results of analysis into clear written communications for leadership review.

  • Investigate and coordinate external support resources and solutions to support improvement strategies as needed.

  • Develop strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders to help drive change.

  • Serve as a key resource and a subject matter expert for operational processes within Express Lending.

  • Continuously follow up and communicate with relevant stakeholders, providing meaningful advice, consultation, and information.

  • Use expertise to assist with Product Development decisions and new investor onboarding as needed.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business/logistics/industrial engineering or related field, along with a minimum of six years total experience in Mortgage/Banking/Escrow related role(s), with at least three of those years acting in a process improvement or project management capacity.

  • Experience in process or operations management (Lean/Six Sigma) preferred.

  • Experience leading and facilitating improvement projects with an understanding of project planning and project management.

  • Demonstrated ability to structure change management efforts and drive performance improvements.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized.

  • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service.

  • Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers.

  • Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
