Purpose of Job: Oversees and controls all aspects of production and building maintenance.
Schedules regular preventive maintenance.
Manages venders and outside contractors.
Addresses machinery downtime concerns.
Oversees parts ordering/stock room inventory.
Responsible for Food Safety, Food Defense, and all OSHA safety measures.
Hires, trains and manages all technicians.
Communicates with suppliers and obtains external quotes on a regular basis.
Communicates with line leads to improve daily efficiencies.
Communicates with the Plant Engineering Manager for plant operations and needs.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and five (5) years of manager or supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of basic production machinery, welding, and basic electrical skills.
Understands PO ordering system and must be able to process credit card purchases and statements.
Obtains Capital Expenditure quotes and demonstrates follow through to completion.
