The search is underway for the next

Spokane Community College President

With the recent transition into his new role as Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) Chancellor, Dr. Kevin Brockbank, former Spokane Community College (SCC) President, has announced the search for his SCC replacement.

Geographically, CCS is the largest community college district in the state, serving almost 50,000 students a year. The district includes two college campuses Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) as well as a number of rural education centers located throughout the districts 12,302-square-mile service area. Spokane Community Colleges 111-acrecampus is located in east Spokane along the Spokane River. The college offers more than 90 professional/technical programs, as well as a comprehensive liberal arts program. Among its highly recognized programs are the fluid power technology program which is the only one of its kind on the West Coast, and the colleges allied health division which is considered among the largest programs in United States community colleges.

Under the direction of the Chancellor, the President, will serve as the chief executive officer for Spokane Community College; develop and implement processes, systems and practices that ensure the effective and efficient administration of the college; and ensure college functions are administered consistent with the District's mission, values, strategic plan, board policies and administrative procedures.
