Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage front desk reception area.


• Perform general clerical duties such as collecting / distributing department mail, answering / directing telephone calls, ordering / maintaining supplies, general typing and basic research.


• Manage / maintain department spread sheets to log and track check payments, fee invoices, and legal suit actions.


• Manage department file room and electronic filing for department.


• Assist Staff Attorney


• Assist Paralegals


• Assist Bankruptcy Clerks


• Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

• Position requires a high school diploma or GED plus practical knowledge and skills acquired on the job.


• Up to six months experience


• Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and other applicable software.


• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.


• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Normal office conditions


• Works in a timeline driven production-oriented atmosphere.


• Works under regular supervision based on demonstrated proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
