Talent Acquisition Specialist
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Vetsource you’ll have an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and responsibilities relating to Branding, Communication, Outreach, and Candidate Administration. This role will develop creative solutions to enhance the Vetsource brand that candidates experience, help develop Talent best practices, along with process improvement initiatives, all with a DEI lens. This role navigates between changing responsibilities and priorities as the needs of the Talent team and the needs of the business fluctuate, allowing us to be flexible and scale in times of growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop/enhance and execute on the talent branding roadmap with a goal to enhance our brand presence; collaborate with the marketing team as needed
Act as primary point of contact for TA vendors; take steps to maximize the value with our third-party sites such as Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
Support the TA Partners in additional sourcing and outreach activities for both external and internal candidates; help to attract and hire qualified and diverse talent
Develop/enhance dashboards and reporting to assess qualified diverse candidate pipelines
Support candidate administration, including Workday workflow, requisition and offer letter review and approval, pre-employment screening, and onboarding tracking
Aid in the ongoing development and support of the Workday Recruitment module, with an eye towards continuous improvement
Bring a DEI lens to all aspects of Talent Acquisition; support Talent and DEI goals and initiatives
Support an effective and positive candidate experience
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned, including cross functional work within HR, and possible backup support in recruitment
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ related Talent Acquisition or HR work experience
Experience in creating a strong and positive brand presence using various social media tools and external and internal platforms
Experience identifying talent based on organizational needs; experience creating a talent community with passive job seekers
Demonstrated ability to develop and support DEI initiatives as it relates to candidates/ employees
Ability to utilize data to analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Talent/ HR team to develop recommendations, solutions, programs, and policies
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; experience in establishing rapport and partnerships with leaders and employees at all levels and skills across the organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills, clear and concise messaging, strong virtual engagement skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines under minimal supervision
Ability to proactively work independently as well as a contributing team member
Ability to deliver quality work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated discretion and seen as a trusted partner; ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality of critical and sensitive information, records, and reports
Knowledge of pertinent employment law; ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies
Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Experience working with HR Information Systems and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)
