Cost Analyst at FORT WAYNE METALS RESEARCH PRODUCTS, LLC in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Description:

We’re glad you’re exploring our Cost Analyst position and want to share some of the details.

Some of the things you will need include a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities is required. 3 years of relevant experience is required.

 

In this position you will be responsible for helping the company control expenses through investigating variances, building financial models, conducting financial research and analysis, focusing primarily on COGS/COS related expenses. Some of the things you’ll be doing include analyzing the difference between company costs and standard costs, developing budgets, auditing financial transactions, conducting market research, and preparing reports for company leadership. You will also collaborate cross-functionally throughout the company to identify and execute strategic initiatives to improve cost and company targets. Finally, you will participate in team and project meetings to keep the team fully aware of the progress of assigned projects and to support a team environment of continuous feedback and idea sharing.
